Day 233 – World Peace Bell

This is the World Peace Bell located in Newport, KY.  I discovered there is also a museum there, with a catwalk that leads directly to the bell.  But it’s only open Monday – Friday, so I’ll have to make another trip back to get some eye level photos of the bell.  It has some pretty intricate engravings on it that I’d love to shoot up close.

  1. It’s beautiful and I’m impressed that you were able to get such a good shot of it without being up close. Can’t wait to see more.

  5. How interesting! I learn so much from reading your blog. I love the golden glow on the edge of the bell. The engraving shows up really well here, can’t wait to see what it all means.
