Day 239 – Lomo Window

I took this photo of a fabulous stained glass window, but the day was cloudy and drizzly and most of my photos came out really dark.  I tried several different editing techniques in Picnik and settled on the Lomo effect because it made the colors in the window pop the most.  Note to self:  go back on a prettier day!  🙂

  1. It’s beautiful and the Lomo seems the perfect “fit” for it.

I love it! While you’re putting things on your list, you might take your tripod and shoot it at night when they’re having services. The inner light will make the stained glass windows sparkle. 🙂

I like how the effect brightened the colors and details…I would have never guessed it was an icky day! The lomo effect also makes this a bit dramatic…I love it!
