Capture What Counts Photography

Day 303 – Just After Take-off

Today Macy and I went to see Soul Surfer with our friend Jackie.  Great movie…you should go check it out.

Afterward, we stopped by Cold Stone Creamery for some very overpriced ice cream and some people watching.  While sitting outside enjoying the beautiful day, this DHL plane flew overhead and I couldn’t resist snapping a shot of the colors against that blue sky.  Photo is SOOC.

  1. Good shot – I like the colors and how you caught the plane at the edge of the clouds.

    • Thanks Mike. That was actually the 3rd plane. I couldn’t get the timing right 🙂 Thankfully DHL was off and running that day!

I want to see that movie! Unfortunately my “boy” family has vetoed the movie, so I have to find someone to go with me lol Too bad you don’t live closer! 🙂

The colors do pop against that sky…and I love the slight motion blur…definitely an eye catcher!
