Today we visited Rob’s Mom and Dad, and Mom told me that her lilacs were blooming. I have never photographed lilacs before, so I was pretty excited at this news!

I think my mom used to have lilacs when she was growing up in Colorado. I never knew they were so pretty. We can’t get squat to grow in Florida. Except palm trees & grass that you would call weeds. Lovely photo! This may be a silly question, but do they smell?

They smell amazing! Very sweet…almost too sweet. But there’s nothing better to let you know that spring has arrived!

OMG I think I can smell those from here! I am so jealous, our lilacs are not in bloom yet and how I love the smell! What a gorgeous image…your flowers are always among my favorites!
