Day 357 – Desert Flowers

Another flower from the Indy Zoo.  I don’t know what this one is either, but I was kind of obsessed with it.  It was in the “desert” area of the zoo, where the lizard from Day 351 was.

A big thank you to the friends who identified yesterdays “mystery flower” as a Columbine.

I love that it was so beautiful, yet so simple.

Bonnie, I love the isolation of the red color here. Very nice.

  3. Another great composition. The contrast against the rock and the DOF on on the background and just the flower sharp…..perfect….

  4. Great shot Bonnie! I agree with Martina, the isolated splash of red really makes the image!
