Capture What Counts Photography

#10/52 – Beginnings

Just got back from spending the weekend with Hanson and Kim.  If all goes well, he will be able to go home sometime this week!  He is such a little fighter…and has such a sweet personality.  I can’t wait until I can actually do a photo shoot with him, but that is still a little while down the road.  I’m so glad that he is going to be able to go home soon so he can begin life with his amazing parents!

Thank you all for the continued prayers, well wishes and support for Team Hanson!  It means the world to me and to his family as well.  He’s had a rough beginning, but this little boy is going to do something great in this world!  I promise to post a photo of him as soon as I can.  But for now, here’s his hand with Mommy’s

This is an outstanding shot Bonnie! We don’t even see his face but I feel like I already know something about him. Beautiful!

    • Thank you Mike! That means the world to me. I can’t wait until I can post a picture of him. He’s still got the oxygen cannula, but thankfully the feeding tube is now gone. The tape they use to secure all the tubes and wires has torn up his little face so much I just don’t want to post pics like that, and neither does the family. But I promise as soon as I can, I will post one so everyone can see the little miracle!

  9. Love this touching shot, says volumes, sometimes you don’t need the face to get a very touching image and evoke feelings as evidenced here.

  18. Poor baby, poor Hansen family. Children should never have to struggle so young. Hopefully it will all be over before he’s old enough to remember it. I like this shot. It says strength and unity. Hang in there, you guys. You’ll make it, and you’ll be even better for it.
