It rained here yesterday, and after it stopped, I found the fattest, most beautiful rain drops on my lily leaves. Love nature!

Of all your photos, this is my favourite. Lovely detail in the water droplets, and perfect contrast makes it all ‘pop’

another oh my goodness, I’ve never seen raindrops look as gorgeous, the green WOW, plus the detail of the leaves through the water droplet is excellant….

Love the detail in the fat rain drops.

Very creative! I like how increasing detail in the blades of grass also transformed the water droplets to have a sort of frozen pellet look.

Thank you everyone. I have been wanting to capture a water drop shot since I very first started my photo blog. Rob and I were in Baltimore, MD and our hotel room had a picture of a blade of grass with a water drop on it, and I was instantly in love. This is really a feather in my cap at this point, and I so appreciate all the awesome comments!

Lovely composition….the texture visible in the leaves is such a great contrast to the raindrops.
