#25/52 – Keepsakes

This weekend my daughter Macy and I went to visit baby Hanson and his family.  He is getting so big and is just the sweetest thing!  And…he is going to be an uncle very soon!  His big sister Savannah is expecting her little bundle of joy any day now.  We actually thought baby Emery was going to make his appearance Saturday, but he changed his mind.

I was super excited to be able to tag along on Savannah’s maternity shoot this weekend.  Not only did I get to photograph two of the cutest parents-to-be ever, but I also got to co-photograph with my amazing sisterfriend Kim.  Very honored to have been a part of this special day, and can’t wait to meet little Emery!  (I will post some of the maternity shots on my Facebook page later this week.)

These little Converse Chuck Taylor’s will definitely be keepsakes for Savannah and Calvin.

#24/53 – XFactor

One of my favorite things to photograph is railroad tracks.  What a great place to find this week’s theme.  🙂

#23/53 – Maturity

Y’all have seen these little ladies on my blog before…they’re definitely in my top list of favorite photo subjects.  🙂

They both celebrated birthdays recently…Mallory turning 2, and big sis Natalie turning 3.  What better subjects for the theme of maturity?

#22/52 – Activities

My friend Brandy has started a business creating the tutus and headbands that are the latest rage in child photography.  She also makes neckties for the little princes out there.  The past couple of weeks have been filled with activities related to Brandy launching her business, and I’m so excited for her as she begins this journey, and so grateful to be a small part of it.

If you’re looking for some super cute props for your photography, check out Brandy’s Facebook page – Cali Couture Tutus & More.  Brandy makes each piece by hand (all while balancing 4 month old twins and a 2 year old!)  This is her beautiful daughter, Cali, modeling a headband and tutu that her Mommy made.  🙂
