#34/52 – Fun

Yesterday Rob and I went to the Zucchini Festival in Obetz, OH.  If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you know that my husband is a major music fan, and he found out that Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were playing the festival.  (If you haven’t checked out his site yet, go check out www.hardrockhideout.com!)  I forgot to take my camera with me, so I didn’t get any shots of Joan, but she looked great and sounded amazing!  So great to hear the old school bands out there still doing their thing!

On our quest to find something zucchini related at this festival (harder than you would have thought!) I had to stop and get a shot of the ferris wheel with my phone.  Ferris wheels are so much fun!

Etsy Site?

Hello All!

I am toying with the idea of creating an Etsy site to sell my photos.

I am curious if any of you have an Etsy site, and if so, how much success have you had?

I’d really appreciate any feedback you can give.  You may email me at bonniegunkel@gmail.com if you don’t wish to leave the information in the comments section.

Thank you!  Hope you’re all having a great week!

#32/52 – Eating

This past week, Cincinnati had an event called Downtown Restaurant Week, where participating restaurants offered two 3-course dinners for $35.00.  Rob and I looked over the menus from all the restaurants, and chose Palomino, which just so happens to overlook Fountain Square in downtown.  We made reservations and requested a table by the windows, and we were not disappointed.  The food was fabulous; the view was awesome; our waitress, Bridgette, was top notch…and then we decided to have dessert.

Oh.My.God.  I think this was the best dessert I’ve ever eaten!  Seriously.  Ever.  And that takes a lot because I love dessert.  This is the pomegranate creme brulee (one of their specialties) and it was absolutely to die for.  If this place hadn’t been so upscale, I would have licked the bowl.  No kidding.

#31/52 – Leisure

Macy and I spent the weekend with Baby Hanson and his family.  He is getting so big, and learning so much!  I also got to meet Hanson’s new baby nephew, Emery.  What a cutie!  He wasn’t feeling very well, so I didn’t get many photos of him.  Next time!

Sunday it rained all day, so we had lots of leisure time to just sit around and talk.  So good for my soul!  After the rain, I had to get a shot of the water drops on Kim’s flowers

Yes, I stretched this week’s theme.  They’re getting difficult.  🙂
