#21/52 – Remember
My Daddy served in the Korean War in the United States Army. He only talked about his time in Korea once, when I was about 10 years old. He was buried alive in a fox hole for almost 24 hours, and to this day, the smell of dirt or mud makes me feel like I am suffocating. This photo of him was taken in November 1962. He passed away in April 2009 and I miss him so incredibly much.
Thank you to all the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. Always Remember.
